HYAA Basketball is committed to providing every athlete with the opportunity to train, compete, and develop their skills in a fun and structured environment. Our upcoming player assessments will ensure proper placement for the summer season while giving players valuable feedback from coaches and mentors.

Jumpstart (Ages 6-7)

🗓 Saturday, May 17 → 9:00–10:00 AM @ Huntersville Elementary School

Foundation (Ages 8-9)

🗓 Friday, May 16 → 6:00–7:00 PM @ Huntersville Rec Center (Court 2)
🗓 Saturday, May 17 → 10:00–11:00 AM @ Huntersville Elementary School

Gateway (Ages 10-11)

Elevate Division (Ages 9-11) – Special Assessment at Girls Hoop Night!

To make evaluations more engaging and fun, our Elevate division assessments will take place during our exciting Girls Hoop Night – Elevate Celebration event!

📍 Huntersville Elementary School (HES)

🔥 Players will participate in skills assessments while enjoying interactive drills
🔥 Mentors & trainers will provide direct feedback on strengths & growth areas
🔥 A great opportunity to finalize team placements & build excitement for the season

How to Prepare for Assessments:

✔ Players should arrive 15 minutes early to check-in
✔ Wear basketball attire & bring water
✔ Expect drills, skill evaluations, and interactive guidance
✔ Be ready to learn, grow, and have fun on the court!
